Start with the exact material
Name the stone, finish and intended use. A request for “black stone” can describe several different products; “Charcoal Black limestone, tumbled and brushed, for outdoor paving” gives our team a much clearer starting point.
Specify sizes, thickness and quantity
List every size separately and include the thickness and edge treatment. State whether the quantity is in square metres, square feet, pieces or containers. Include a drawing for shaped coping, corners, steps or custom cuts.
Agree a representative sample range
Review current product photographs and discuss samples before confirming production. Natural stone varies between pieces and batches. Agree the colour range, surface finish and dimensional tolerances that your project requires.
Share the full delivery destination
Tell us the destination port or delivery address, together with your target timeframe. Cargo weight, packing dimensions, route and destination arrangements affect the transport plan. Ask for the scope and validity of any freight quotation to be stated clearly.
Review the written quotation
Before ordering, confirm the selected material, quantities, price units, packing, payment stages, production timeframe and delivery responsibilities in writing. Requirements for inspections and shipment documents should also be agreed for your destination.
Plan inspection, packing and dispatch
Agree how finished material will be checked and what packing photographs or inspection records you need. Confirm crate counts and final shipping details before dispatch. Keep the approved specification and shipment documents together for receipt of the order.
Limestone paving slabs, tiles and trade supply
For a UK patio, European terrace or interior floor, start with the intended use and a finish sample. Compare Umbrian Limestone for a warm yellow palette, Worn Grey for blue-grey paving, Charcoal Black and Kurnool Grey. These are Indian limestones supplied by Divya Stones.
Specify slab or tile dimensions and thickness in millimetres, the quantity in square metres or pieces, and your delivery country and postcode or port. For repeat trade orders, include your planned order frequency and preferred crate quantities. Request the relevant finish information and available test reports for your project conditions, including wet areas or exposure to frost.
Ask the quotation to identify the currency, price unit, packing, freight scope and delivery responsibilities. Confirm samples, production timing and destination arrangements before placing an order.
Indian limestone pavers, tiles and pool coping
US importers, landscape suppliers and project buyers can enquire about limestone patio pavers, stepping stones, floor tiles and pool coping. Worn Grey limestone offers a blue-gray colour range; Umbrian Limestone offers warm yellow and ochre tones. Request current batch photographs and samples of the intended finish.
Provide quantities in square feet or pieces and label all dimensions as inches or millimetres. Agree final metric production dimensions and tolerances in writing rather than assuming nominal inch sizes are exact equivalents. Include drawings for coping profiles, corners and steps.
Send your destination port or city and ZIP code, target delivery window and unloading requirements. Ask for the quotation currency, unit price, crate details and freight scope to be confirmed. Any frost, slip or strength performance needed for your project should be checked against the selected stone, finish and available test information.
